VS1310TX - 1U 1310nm Transmitter

The standard rack-mounted VS1310TX series 1310nm optical transmitters are designed for HFC and fiber to the home (FTTH) network applications. These AM modulated transmitters have a wide bandwidth from 45 to 870MHz and can be used for both analog and digital signals transmission. The VS1310TX series transmitters employ high performance 1310nm MQW DFB lasers with integrated optical isolator. These lasers operate at a wide range of optical output power from 6 to 20mW, providing system designers a flexible loss budgets.

The VS1310TX series features an integrated advanced pre-distortion circuit which achieves superior CSO and CTB performance. The embedded MCU circuit monitors and controls full status parameters and remote communications. All parameters can be accessed either through the front panel LCD or RS232 or RS485 interface located on the rear panel of the transmitters.

VS1550TX - 1U 1550nm Transmitter

The VS1550TX series is a family of high performance 1550nm externally modulated analog transmitters. These optical transmitters are packaged in a 1RU 19’’ standard chassis and are available in several configurations to meet various network requirements. There are two versions of the VS1550TX series transmitters ---- fixed SBS version and adjustable SBS version, both providing a minimum optical output power of 7 dBm from 2 ports. The VS1550TX series transmitters feature high carrier to noise ratio (CNR), superior flatness, and low power consumption. With integrated proprietary pre-distortion circuit, the VS1550TX series transmitters provide excellent CSO and CTB performance. This family of transmitters is part of the full line of products developed by Vale Systems to support and enhance the deployment of traditional HFC, passive HFC and fiber to the home (FTTH) networks.

VSFRX - 1U Forward Receiver

The VSFRX series products are standard 1RU rack-mounted forward path receivers. They are designed for headend to hub application using 1310nm or 1550nm wavelengths. The VSFRX series integrates two optical receiver modules which share the same RF amplifier in one unit, providing a redundancy function in a network. The VSFRX series has a bandwidth from 45 to 870MHz and provides superior frequency response, low distortion and noise and high output level. The VSFRX series has two gain control modes. Users can select either AGC or MGC mode with front panel push buttons.

VSRRX - 1U Quad Return Path Receiver

The VS4RRX is a Quad analog return path receiver. It contains four independent return path receivers in a 1RU chassis, making it one of the highest density receivers in the market. The four receivers of the VS4RRX have a wide bandwidth from 5 to 200MHz, providing high RF output levels up to 45dBmV and high efficiency optical performance for excellent carrier to noise performance. An RS485 interface is provided for remote device status monitoring and control of each wink switch for ingress troubleshooting.

VS1550FA - 1U EDFA

The standard rack-mounted VS1550FA series 1550nm EDFAs are designed to meet the high performance of fiber networks in CATV or digital systems applications. The VS1550FA series products utilize single or dual high performance 980nm pump lasers, providing 14dBm~23dBm output power with a noise figure of less than 7dB from 1540 to 1560nm. The VS1550FA series products have an embedded advanced MCU circuit embedded to monitor and control full status parameters and alarms. All parameters can be accessed through front panel LCD or RS485 interface located on the rear panel of the transmitter. The VS1550FA series products also employ a manual key switch for safety consideration during operation.
